As an Environmental Project Manager - Waste Management, you will have the chance to deliver waste management client projects to include providing project planning, permitting and/or engineering; developing business through proposals and aggressive networking in Florida to grow CH2M is now Jacobs' presence; and work with key waste management clients in Florida and throughout the southeastern US regional market. Working with other members of our team, you will manage projects and participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and scheduling, and performance. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity use your knowledge the solid waste management stream (from generation to collection/hauling, transfer, process, and ultimate destination or use) to apply the right tools and systems to organize and deliver projects. BS or MS degree in an engineering discipline, preferably civil or environmental
Minimum of 10 to years of experience in the solid waste management industry
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Project management experience including proposal and business development experience
Familiarity with landfills, transfer stations, composting, waste collection, anaerobic digestion, waste processing and related technologies.
MS degree in an engineering or relevant discipline
15-20 years of experience in the waste management industry
Have a proven track record in client relations and in positioning for, winning, and delivering successful solid waste projects in Florida and beyond
