Under administrative direction the Solid Waste Management Coordinator is responsible for developing and continuously improving a comprehensive and progressive recycling/solid waste diversion program. The program includes but is not limited to solid waste collection and disposal, recycling, hazardous waste and Recycling Center management.
Experience and Training
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university
Certificates and Licenses Required
Five (5) or more years of experience in a position related to solid waste management, recycling management, or similar. Two (2) years supervisory experience preferred.
Texas Class "C" Operator Driver License. Must obtain 24 Hour HazMat Technician training within 6 months of hire.
