The Hillsborough County Solid Waste Management Division is seeking a proactive, dynamic, seasoned Professional Engineer to manage solid waste capital improvement projects which includes design, permitting, construction and operations of a Class I landfill, waste-to-energy plant, yard waste processing, transfer stations and other operations for a solid waste management program.   The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in project management and oversight, consultant contract negotiation and management, alternative analyses, cost benefit evaluations, work plans, project initiations and public outreach and communication.
