Works as part of at the I-66 Transfer Station Complex. Must have extensive knowledge, skill, and ability in solid waste industry methods, heavy equipment, and supervision of operations, as well as equipment maintenance and coordination and supervision of staff and equipment for a large volume municipal waste transfer station and transportation operation. Participates in long range planning for public works/environmental services management operations, emergency responses, and capital projects, and reviews equipment condition and performance to plan for replacement cycles and upgrades.
