Purpose of Position: To enforce State Laws and Rules in relation to on-site sewage disposal for residences, places of business, and places of public assembly, including industrial process waste water.  Locate proposed individual water supplies when needed in order to assure proper separation from ground absorption systems and compliance with State Rules where applicable. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  Considerable knowledge of environmental health laws, rules, and procedures, as well as complete understanding of the concepts of public health law.
