JOB SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Director of Solid Waste Services, the Deputy Director of Solid Waste Services is responsible for assisting the Director in planning, directing, and supervising departmental administrative and operational functions. This includes overseeing Management Divisions responsible for Administration, Residential Collection, Commercial and Industrial Collections, Fleet and Grounds Maintenance, Landfill Operations, and Recycling activities to ensure efficient and effective operations. This position assists in the overall management of the Solid Waste Services Department, particularly in developing operating budgets, revising procedures, conducting special research projects, and maintaining outsourced contracts for specific operations
