Under general direction, the Waste Management Superintendent directs, manages, supervises, and coordinates the activities and operations of the Department of Waste Management and Recycling including waste collection, transfer and disposal operations; curbside recycling; organic waste collection and other resource recovery and waste diversion programs; and coordinates assigned activities with other divisions, departments, outside agencies, and the general public.
