This position is responsible for directing the operations of the Public Works Department. The Director of Public Works oversees the management and operations of the Streets/Stormwater, Environmental Services, and Fleet Management Divisions. This role ensures effective maintenance of streets and ditches, efficient solid waste and recycling services, and the safe operation of city equipment. The Director is responsible for planning capital improvement projects, managing departmental budgets, and guiding staff development while maintaining positive public relations.
