The Waste Superintendent performs work of considerable to substantial difficulty in supervising crews of unskilled, semi-skilled, and skilled Waste Workers and Supervisors, Equipment Operators, Trades Workers, and other personnel in a variety of sanitation, maintenance, general repair, mechanical repair, custodial, or construction activities. The Waste Superintendent may provide administrative and technical assistance to Assistant Director when requested.
