Key responsibilities include coordinating engineering projects with government agencies, developers, contractors, and City staff; reviewing site plans and design reports; assisting with the development of bid documents and cost estimates; and construction management. Experience with water/wastewater or transportation projects is a plus. Qualifications Qualifications - At minimum, requires: 1) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with major course work in engineering, construction management, or a related field; 2) state recognition as an EIT, having passed the FE exam. Additional experience and education may be considered in place of the EIT certification. Project Engineer II must have 3+ years of increasingly responsible engineering and project management experience in projects directly related to infrastructure management (water, wastewater, stormwater, or transportation projects) and/or subdivision development and site planning. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with a diverse group of people. Desire working experience with MS Office, AutoCAD, and GIS software.
