Solid Waste Manager
The Town of Nantucket seeks qualified candidates for the position of Solid Waste Manager. The Solid Waste Manager is responsible for the administrative and technical management of the solid waste enterprise fund and operations, including but not limited to contract management, capital projects development and oversight, supervision of personnel and maintenance of the Town’s solid waste facility infrastructure in accordance with local bylaws and MA General Laws. The Manager is responsible for overseeing and recommending adjustments where necessary to the Town’s comprehensive and progressive recycling/solid waste diversion program.
