Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Senior Engineer within our Environmental Operations Group at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. This position provides management level engineering, planning, direction and management of specific tasks related to MES projects and facilities.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Geotechnical, Electrical or other generally recognized field of engineering from an accredited college or university plus eight years of relevant engineering experience, two years of which included direct supervisory capacity managing technical and scientific staff.

Professional Engineer Certification may be substituted for four years of the required experience. Assignment to some MES locations may require PE certification. EIT certification may be substituted for one year of the required experience. Master’s degree in engineering or other relevant field may be substituted for two years of required experience. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
